You and you child can pre-order school meals in advance by registering your School Grid account. Please click on the above link for more information.

If you child is absent or away for lunch and you have pre-ordered, please ensure you cancel your child's meal on School Grid or you will be charged.

Carbohydrate information - Primary Winter23 / Spring 24 Menu

Children are welcome to receive a hot meal (Vegetarian or Meat) or a baguette/roll and salad at lunchtime. Our food is supplied by Hertfordshire Catering who provide a Good School Food menu. These menus comply fully with the Government's Nutrients and Food Based Standards. We offer a Wednesday Special (Roast Dinner) and Friday Special.

School Dinners cost £3.15 per day and should be paid in advance. Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will receive Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) meaning school meals will be free to children in these year groups. Please ensure if your child is entitled to benefit related Free School Meals you still apply for this online as your child will be entitled to additional benefits.

Should your child wish to bring in a packed lunch please ensure these consist of healthy foods (no chocolate bars) and food does not contain nuts and is clearly named. Fizzy drinks are not permitted. Children who have packed lunch are welcome to have a Wednesday or Friday Special each week.

Dinners can be pre-ordered by parents/carers online with School Grid. If you do not have a log in, please contact the School Office. Children will also have the option of choosing their order in the classroom during morning registration. The cut-off time for meal orders is 9.30am daily. You will be unable to make any changes after this time. Late arrivals that have not pre-ordered by 9.30am will still be able to have a school dinner but will only be offered the cold option (roll or baguette of the day). Therefore we encourage parents and carers to pre-order dinners in advance to ensure your child gets their preferred choice.
