The school gates open at 8:40am and the Headteacher / Deputy Head rings the bell on the playground at 8:50am signalling the children to line-up in their classes. The children line-up on the playgrounds and are collected by their teachers in Foundation and Key Stage 1 or sent in by the Head / Deputy in Key Stage 2.
The school day starts promptly at 8:55am when registration takes place.
At the end of the school day Foundation classes and Key Stage 1 children are collected from their classes. If there is a change of arrangements for collection these must be directly given to a member of staff in your child’s class or to the school office. Children will not be released to a charge of an adult without prior notice. Key Stage 2 classes are allowed to exit onto the playground for collection, where a teacher is on duty to supervise. Only children in Years 5 and 6 are allowed to walk home independently and can only do so with written permission from their parents/carers.
