Welcome to Year 3 Hepworth and Moore Class

The class teacher for Moore class is Mrs Hoy, and the class teacher for Hepworth is Mr Brown. We are lucky to have lots of support in Year 3, including Mrs Brattle, Mrs Breakwell, Mrs Charalambous and Miss Buchanan who assist in both classes.  
 
In Year 3, we learn all about rocks and soils, which children have loved learning about so far. We also study animals including humans, forces and magnets, light, and plants in Science.  In History, we are looking forward to exploring the Stone Age in the Autumn term, and the Romans in the Summer term. We will also be focusing on map skills in Geography. Year 3 have begun learning French for the first time and are able to show off the super salutations they have learnt.

The children enjoy selecting work from the topics we have learnt about so far to put on our Proud Walls. We continue to focus on our amazing listening skills and becoming wonderful learners.
