Dear Parents / Carers
Thank You for Visiting Our Open Classrooms!
A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us for our Open Classrooms this week. It was wonderful to welcome you into school and share the fantastic work your children have been doing. Hopefully you got a chance to meet your child's teacher and visit the classroom. If you haven't sent in a family photo yet please do so your child can be on the photo wall.
Harvest Assembly – Food Bank Donations Needed Next week
Next week, we will be collecting items for the Hatfield Food Bank as part of our Harvest Festival. If you are able, please send in non-perishable food items with your child. Your generosity will help support families in our local community.
What to collect:
Hatfield Foodbank only works with non-perishable food items (tinned and dried goods), which do not spoil or decay. It means that we can give each person visiting the foodbank a carefully designed food parcel that contains three days’ worth of nutritionally-balanced food. All items should be unopened, in date and in good condition.
The items we most need are…
- Tinned soup
- Tinned meat (especially hotdogs or meatballs)
- Baked beans
- Tinned tomatoes
- Tinned vegetables like peas, sweetcorn or carrots
- Pasta sauce
- Tinned fruit
- Tinned custard
- Pasta
- Long life juice
- Long life milk
- Small jars of coffee
Please leave donations in the main foyer area in the food bank donation point.
