Welcome to Year 3 - Moore (2019-2020)
Our teacher is Mrs Russell, we also have Mrs Tidball to help us with our learning, and Mr Brown takes us on a Tuesday afternoon and a Wednesday morning.
In Year 3 we will be learning all about Light and Dark in Science, as well as Rocks and Soils and Animals, including Humans. Our history topics include the Stone Age and The Romans, whilst we will look at volcanoes and earthquakes and the Water Cycle in Geography. These will be explored through art, design & technology and drama. We are really looking forward to our trip to the Henry Moore Gardens & Museum to research shape and form this Term. Later in the year we will be visiting a quarry and Amwell Nature Reserve. When studying Romans we will be visiting The Verulamium Museum and have an Immersion Day to make mosaics, laurel crowns and jewellery.
